We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Kotlin Developer to join our dynamic team at Paynetics AD. As a Senior Kotlin Developer, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions using Kotlin and Spring Boot.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable applications using Kotlin and Spring Boot.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices and industry standards.
- Conduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and mentor junior developers.
- Troubleshoot and debug software defects, as well as identify and address performance bottlenecks.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends, recommending innovative solutions to enhance our fintech products.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of professional experience in Kotlin development.
- Strong proficiency in Spring Boot and Kotlin, with a deep understanding of their core principles and best practices.
- Familiarity with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL).
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Considered a Plus:
- Experience with message brokers such as Apache Kafka or RabbitMQ.
- Familiarity with cache engines like Redis or Memcached.
- Knowledge of AWS services, deployment, and management.
- Understanding of cryptographic principles and their application in securing financial transactions.
