We are growing our team and are seeking an experienced Senior Compliance Expert

Responsibilities

• Draft/update company compliance guidelines, internal processes and procedures
• Follow changes in card schemes regulations and communicate with responsible teams
• Follow changes in the local regulations of payment industry legal framework
• Implement, perform and monitor AML/compliance assurance supervisory checks in all company
  business lines
• Track analytics on compliance KPIs
• Create reports for the Chief Compliance Officer
• Represent the team in the communication with other partners/third parties
• Work on optimizing core business processes from compliance aspect
• Work on achieving compliance of different business models
• Ensure ongoing compliance with card schemes and local regulations
• Evaluate compliance risks
• Organize internal trainings on compliance/AML topics
• Record кeeping of controls

Your profile

• 3+ years of experience in Compliance and AML/CTF
• Experience in Due Diligence and KYC
• Knowledge of relevant EU and BG AML/CTF legislation and regulatory guidance
• Knowledge of BG regulatory framework, EU AML framework and PSD2
• Knowledge of card schemes rules and procedures
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and analytical skills
• Self-motivated, innovative and a self-starter
• Team minded
• Willing to do some ad hoc tasks
• Fluent in English
• Excel, PPT skills

Preferred

• Experience in the e-money industry and with e-money products are considered a big advantage
• Experience in the e-commerce industry is considered an advantage
• Experience in internal audits
• Degree in Law or International Relations or equivalent
