We are looking for a highly motivated Project Manager to join our team. As product and industry experts, our Project Managers are strategic assets to our merchants. They focus first and foremost on understanding the unique needs of a merchant and delivering insight and solutions that meet those needs. As such, they accept end-to-end ownership of the success and satisfaction of the merchants in their care.
What you’ll do
- Project management: Lead end-to-end project management for Card Issuing, Account Issuing, BIN Sponsorship, White-label, and Acquiring projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to scope. Support merchants and partners during the technical integration.
- Delivering Timely Onboarding and Client satisfaction: Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring timely completion of milestones and tasks. Monitor project progress and identify potential risks, providing effective solutions and mitigating actions.
- Relationship management: Build and drive strong relationships with key merchant contacts and leverage those relationships to drive the best possible merchant experience. Act as a liaison between internal stakeholders, external vendors, and clients to ensure smooth project implementation.
- Strategic consultant: Become a payment expert for our merchants, delivering expertise, education, leadership, and guidance to merchants on their global payments strategy. Also, provide a feedback loop for Paynetics, by gathering merchants’ feedback, evaluating the evolution of merchant needs, and communicating these to product and management personnel.
- Cross-functional team collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to initiate, plan, and execute projects with Paynetics key departments. Lead projects with vendors and providers to ensure the project scope is fulfilled.
- Document management: Primary review of provided documents, prepare regular project status reports, and present them to key stakeholders and senior management.
Who you are
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in project management, preferably within the payment industry.
- Experience in the Fintech industry: Particularly in leading Acquiring or Embedded Finance projects, is a strong advantage.
- Project management skills: Strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques, and proficiency in project management software and collaboration tools.
- Analytic and technical skills: Ability to interpret complex data sets, perform spreadsheet-based analysis, and engage confidently in high-level technical and payment-related discussions.
- Extroverted communication skills: Demonstrates the ability to actively engage and navigate fast-paced discussions with internal teams and customers, fostering collaboration and driving positive, results-oriented outcomes.
- Motivation: inspired by the potential for innovation in the payments space, and passionate in his/her drive to push boundaries and create value.
- Execution and results-oriented: Demonstrated problem-solving skills, a strategic thinker ability to lead and manage time-sensitive, cross-functional initiatives in a fast-paced, highly entrepreneurial environment with little supervision.
- Detail-Oriented and Quality-Focused: Demonstrates strong attention to detail and a consistent commitment to delivering high-quality, accurate, and reliable results.
- Proficient in English: both written and spoken, with strong communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree: a degree in finance or a related field is a plus.
