We are seeking a skilled and experienced Data Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Data Engineer, you will analyze all reporting requirements for each department and input data through different channels, build and optimize a Data Storage (DB) to perform fast and with proper data organization.
What you’ll do
- Analyze requirements for reporting provided by Business Analyzer
- Analyze incoming data sources and assess compatibility with current database structure
- Optimize and tune databases and data pipelines for performance, reliability, and scalability
- Evaluate and integrate new technologies and tools to improve data infrastructure and processes
- Implement data integration solutions to consolidate data from various sources, ensuring data quality and integrity
- Implement and enforce best practices for data governance, security, and compliance
- Document data infrastructure, processes, and procedures to facilitate knowledge sharing and maintainability
Who you are
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- At least 3 years of experience working as a Data Engineer or similar role in a fast-paced environment
- Solid understanding of data modeling concepts and techniques
- Strong experience with big data technologies such as MySQL and NoSQL databases
- Hands-on experience with AWS
- Experience with data warehousing solutions
