KYC Team Leader

We have launched the first mobile payment app in Bulgaria, the first utilities payment app in the UK, one of the first automated loyalty solutions in the US and a game changing payment acceptance solution with patent pending.

We are expanding and are looking for an experienced, responsible, and motivated professional for the position:

Responsibilities:

Owning the entire KYC process, including:

  • Plan, coordinate, manage and control the activities in the KYC team and processes
  • Supervise the activities related to the evaluation of natural persons.
  • Create and update new and current internal policies and procedures
  • Maintain quality and production standards for the team as defined by business
  • Lead the onboarding of new partners in terms of KYC compliance
  • Participate in the optimization and automation of internal workflows
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners on KYC related topics
  • Perform research of new models
  • Participate in internal and external audits
  • Support team members in their professional growth and challenge them to exceed expectations.
  • Transfer know-how and train new KYC team members
  • Prepare reports for the upper management on KYC matters
  • Observe the Card schemes changes and news

Requirements:

  • University degree in Law, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field
  • At least 3 years of experience in KYC/Compliance/AML roles within the fintech or financial services industry with proven experience in leadership or managerial capacity
  • Demonstrated experience in automation and optimization projects within the industry
  • Skillful in drafting internal guidelines, policies and procedures
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders at all levels
  • Prior people management experience required
  • Impeccable organizational skills, tech-savvy
  • Excellent command of English – written and spoken
